DISASTER RELIEF is a ministry of and coordinated by the Baptist Men on Mission Department of the KBC to offer a ministry of “Christ in the Crisis”. Disaster Relief volunteers respond to communities where a crisis has occurred, such as a tornado, flood, or other crisis events.

ACTION: WAYS YOU CAN HELP
More churches and individuals willing to become a part of this dynamic ministry. Immediate response to crisis events is crucial if we are to offer Christ’s love to victims. We also need churches or groups willing to give weekends or a week of loving ministry in helping families and churches in the rebuilding process. This can be a planned mission trip taking place several months after the event.
ACTION: MORE WAYS YOU CAN HELP
PROVIDE FUNDS TO PURCHASE EQUIPMENT— Chain saws, pumps, pressure sprayers, cookers, ovens, radios, etc. wear out and get broken in use and are in constant need of repair and replacement. We have three trucks that are over 10 years old and need to be replaced soon with heavy duty equipment. These trucks are used to pull trailers loaded with equipment to the disaster area and then to transport volunteers daily to the homes that are ministered to through chain saw and mud out work.
VOLUNTEERS— Disasters are happening more frequently as we near the coming of our Lord. We need men and women willing to give their time and effort to help disaster victims with their physical and spiritual needs. Especially needed are teams that can respond as a team for 3 to 5 days (plus travel time) and work together as a team.
A ministry of the Baptist Men on Mission Department of the KBC that assists churches and associations by connecting volunteers to partner with them in the construction or renovation of new or existing churches.
ACTION: HOW YOU CAN HELP
